A few weeks ago i was helping my nephew with a project. I instinctively put glue on my hands to peel it off. He asked why i did that and then I showed him and he says “You’re weird.” then my mom told him that she thought I was responsible for teachers changing their supply lists from “Elmer’s Glue” to “glue stick” which does not peel and is therefore unsatisfying, lol. Hey–at least I didn’t eat paste 🙂

Um….I still do that thing with the glue…..lol. I wouled put it all over my hands as a kid and the trick was to actually try to peel it off in one solid layer like a face mask……um, we did the face mask thing once or twice too…..lol
Jen, I’ve followed and liked you for a while now. You’re one of my fave’s!!
We used to make fake nails with glue, too, but instead of putting dots of glue in our desks, we used to put them on our rulers. The rulers used to have an indention that ran down the middle that was the perfect width for the nails!!
Thanks for being such an inspiration to all of us!!

I hated getting glue on my wrists, it always pulled hairs as I rubbed it off. My hands were a different story. If you started rubbing it off while it was tacky it became a gooey gray colored blob and it amused me to see other kids squirm when they saw it. I really liked pulling the dried bits from under my nails, I’ve always had long nails. It was like my fingers had just been groomed and I felt great!
I peel glue off my hands daily with all the projects I am working on. I love your blog and am now a follower. Thanks for being so creative.
