Grey Striped Hutch Doors
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of FrogTape provided by ShurTech Brands, LLC for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
Hi everyone, today I am showing you a little update I did on my “very popular” hutch! I painted turquoise stripes on my hutch over two years ago, but honestly I have never truly been happy with them (not to mention to lazy to change them too). That was until I received this awesome “NEW” FrogTape Textured Surface. Once I got to try out this great product, I new I would re-paint the stripes grey keeping it a neutral color. I am so glad I made the change, I love the after and I love how the FrogTape® Textured Surface helped give me the extra straight and “clean” lines I wanted.
–FrogTape® Textured Surface is a tape that comes with a glue that helps keep the tape adhered to the surface aka “textured” surface. For example, if you wanted to lets say add some stripes or some kind of a design to stucco, you can do it with this awesome FrogTape® Textured Surface. I am always nervous when I tape off something (even rubbing over it a few times) that the paint is going to seep or blob out. EEK! No DIY’er or Crafter wants that. The FrogTape® Textured Surface again with its activated when damp tape with glue helps seal it to your regular or textured surface much better.
FAB-U-LOUS!
So check out my before an afters below.
Step 1- tape off your area/design.
Step 2- activate the glue like adhesive by rubbing over it with a damp cloth.
Step 3- go over the top of the tape that you just got damp and rub your glue over the same area.
Step 4- Paint your taped off area! Let dry and peel off the tape.
Before!
After!
I have to say I was pretty dang impressed when I pulled off the FrogTape® Textured Surface tape. There was no seepage, leaks, or blobs! Oh’ Yeah! I felt like doing a victory dance (and I just might of).
I have to say again, that I love the grey so much more, and wish I did it sooner.
