Sweet & Savory Chocolate Chili
This chili recipe is great to make during this COLD winter, but it’s also great to make for your “Sweetheart” because it’s sweet and savory with chocolate chips in it.. Yup’ you read that correct. You and your sweetie can get all cozy on your couch and feed one another (he he) some.. DELISH- “Chocolate Chili”
Ingredients/Directions:
Brown up 2 lbs of hamburger, drain grease.
Add 5 tbsp of chili powder
1 tbsp of Paprika
1 tbsp of Garlic Powder
1/2 tbsp of Ground Red Pepper
1 tbsp of Cumin
t tbsp of Onion Flake
Then add your seasoning to your meat.
In pan add
1 can of dark red kidney beans un-drained
1 can of light red kidney beans un-drained
1 can of cream of onion soup
2 cans of diced tomatoes
1 can crushed tomatoes
1/2 cup of water
1 cup of rice
1/2 cup of semi sweet chocolate morsels
a couple shakes/twist of salt (sea salt)
and a couple shakes of pepper.
add in you meat, stir and cover lid.
Cook for 20-25 minutes on med. to low heat
stir a couple times in between.
Serve with graded cheese, a dollop of sour cream (optional), and some saltines.
