The Best Orchard Chicken Salad
Its super fun having my sister over and visiting. We have had fun thrift shopping, hitting garage sales, playing with the kiddos, chatting, and making some yummy dishes. This is one of the dishes we made together. Its perfect for spring and summer, when you don’t want anything to heavy.
{Orchard Chicken Salad}
Ingredients/ Directions
5 Rinsed and chopped celery stalks.
4 Apples rinsed chopped, 2 large red apples (any kind or mix them) 2 large green apples
3-4 C. of red and green ripe grapes. Slice all of your grapes in half
1 1/2 boxes of bow tie pasta cooked, rinsed, and drained. Then I drizzle about tbsp. of olive oil throughout the noodles.
1 1/2 rotisserie chickens pulled and shredded (you could boil 5 boneless chicken breasts and shred them)
1 1/2 bottle of coleslaw dressing, I eye ball it.
1 med. container of cashews
Serves Approx. 8-10
Mix all of the following together, combining everything evenly. Season to liking with salt, pepper, onion flake. I like to also add a sprinkle of cashews to the top.
This recipe is really easy, just cutting shredding and mixing. The seasonings again I mainly eye ball and taste test to your liking.
Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least and hour to three. You can also serve it with croissants or rolls.
