Plum Organics- {Feeding your baby}
Thanks to Plum Organics for sponsoring my post about tips for baby feeding magic. What if you let baby choose what’s for dinner? Check out their cute “Quest for Yum!” video and see what happens!
I love that my baby is of the rightful age to eat, spit, drip, drool, and pig out on baby food. My sweet babe has been enjoying some yummy baby food for the past few months. Its so fun to see him like and not so like all the different flavors of baby food. Whats even better is how creative I can be in the kitchen, and the baby foods I can make- homemade, wholesome, and delicious. Plus its a big perk to make yummy blended baby food for the little one that I love. Baby food can be tricky sometimes, I can always tell that bananas are always FAVORED over peas. HA! I can also tell you that squash comes in as a close second to pears. Yep’ my plum babe loves the fruits over the green beans, peas, or turkey dinner. Carrots are super fun to feed the babe, especially if he sneezes with a mouth full. Note to self- don’t wear white while feeding the baby. HA! However, half the fun of feeding my baby has to be watching him make a mess of his food. I love the grins, smiles, and sure pleasure he gets out of enjoying his

There certainly are times when my baby gets distracted by another sibling, an object, a toy on the floor, or the television. Feeding my baby does come with skill, can be tricky, and certainly takes on a craft. I have to be silly and creative to get him to finish his food.
Some things I do are the famous tongue clicking, airplane hand moving, choo choo train chugging on its route to the big tunnel aka mouth, and the famous “Ahhh” with my mouth open to show baby to open big and wide. These tricks have always helped me feed my babies. Each baby has responded differently to each one. I always do the one they like best. The choo choo train sure has been a favorite in my household.
