Golden Coffee Filter {Believe} Banner
I worked on this {BELIEVE} Coffee Filter banner all day today. The glitter glue makes it take longer for drying, but it was a fun craft. I will say that this banner doesn’t photograph well, its much much prettier in person. Sorry. I pinned it to my ledge in our family room.
HOW TO: I started with cutting snowflakes from my Cricut.
Pretty hymn snowflake.
I took my Frayed Burlap distress ink and rubbed it all over the coffee filter for a more worn look.
I squirted out a bunch of gold glitter glue on foil and then….
SCRUNCHED the filter up and DIPPED it in the glitter glue!
to look like this. It worked perfect, but I will admit the glitter glue does tend to get everywhere. Keep a damp rag near.
For more fun embelishments between the coffee filters I added gold plastic circles and brown paper circles. Whole punched for threading.
I also used a martha stewart snowflake punch and punched out small snowflakes for the center. They were glued on with a glue stick. As well as the small circles in the center and the hymn snowflakes.
Thanks for stopping by, HAPPY CRAFTING!
The entire area looks so beautiful! great garland!! Love,Lori
Way cute! Diggin’ on the classic-ness of the banner.
Hi Jenn! Love how your garland came out!!.. But I’m looking in my cabinet, and I only have two filters left! Guess I better buy some more! I just crocheted one myself recently. Garlands are so much fun to decorate the entire house with, aren’t they?! Little by little, I’m STILL decorating here, but I’m such a kid at heart and love every minute of it!! Which reminds me I LOVED your sign on the piano, about being a child at Christmas time!… Hope you and your family are enjoying the weekend! ~tina
Super Neat. It looks great. I love the spot with your piano and tree. It is so cozy!
