My Kitchen Chalkboard

BEFORE~  a bottom piece of compressed thin wood, THAT was to my sons crib. It was a piece that went inside a pull out drawer for under his crib. I took out one of the panels (it was broken) My hubs cut the corners for me with a sharp razor blade. I painted it with chalkboard paint, let is dry. Sanded all the edges. Then the hubs drilled two wholes for burlap, and I embelished it with burlap, button flowers, and gingham ribbon.

gingham and burlap. SO I HAVE shown plenty of crafts with burlap HE~Squeal … I got 3 yards of it for like $ 7.89 its cheap and has been used plenty.

I added the gingham to the chalkboard so it would tie in with the gingham ribbon on my jars.

Now my fam. will know whats for dinner~ I can always tell them “FFY” (fend for yourself) My mom said that to us growing up, when she was to tired to cook. FFY for dinner! 😉 Or my favorite thing to write will be “Whats for Dinner?”
