Hi! I’m Kelly of Live Laugh Rowe, a creative lifestyle blog.
IT’S Great to be visiting here on COM today, thanks jen.
So it all started here! This picture below made my heart sing…

Then I asked my hubby for these Large Clover Pom Pom makers and the Small Clover Pom Pom makers. They were supposed to be a part of my birthday gift, but someone {ahem} left the receipt out for mwah to see. YAY for me!! Boo for hubby!! I was so excited to get these beauties in the mail…
…and boy do they make pom-pom making fun and easy!!

Now, you don’t have to run out and buy these clever little gadgets. You can use your hands/fingers or the old school conventional method. However you decide to make them, let’s grab some yarn and make some pom-poms!
I’ll show you in pictures how I used the Clover pom pom maker.
It will give you an idea of how easy it is to use…
and you’ll want to buy one {giggle}.

The last step is wrapping that yarn around the center, tying and knotting. Voila!
So, then you make lots and lots of pom poms — and use them to make pretty things, such as this sweet pom-pom garland. I {love} the pink, green and white.
If I had to ‘title’ this one — I’d say Watermelon Fun.
It makes me think of Summer, Watermelons and a down right good time!

Then there’s the simple pom pom flower. Guess what I used for my stem here?
A bamboo skewer! I simply slipped the pointed side of the skewer into the center of the pom-pom and look at how darling that is? I’m in {love}.
The skies the limit… in the picture at the top of this post, I kept the extra yarn on the pom poms (from the piece of yarn that is used to tie/hold it all together). I think it adds a little flair; however, they can easily be snipped off for a clean look, as you can see with the Watermelon Fun. I’m excited to add some of these to my shop.

Love the pom pom garlands. I made some pom pom catapillars once in the clours of my dad’s football team and knitted a hat for them very cute.
Love it! Now I want a set of pom pom makers. I linked to this in my friday post… http://www.laniejandco.com/2012/06/inspire-me-friday-62212.html
