Home Decor- Dollar Store No. Boxes
These boxes I picked up from the Dollar store last year sometime. I had originally painted the boxes with acrylic paint in bleach sand white and the lids in a burgundy barn red. With the color changes going on in the home they needed a face lift. So they got one. 😉
Original form
AFTER- I stenciled the numbers on with black acrylic paint and card stock paper with the numbers cut out using my Platinum Schoolbook Cricut cartridge.
– new LOOK-
The lid’s got two coats of acrylic gloss Indian Turquoise paint. Then distressed too just like the boxes.
I used a sponge applicator to push down into the ink pad and then wipe over the wood knob that I hot glued to the top of the No. 1 box.
I dig the new look much more. Thanks Dollar store, I sure love you for good fun crafting.
Thanks to you all for stopping by COM. winks-jen
