Family Room Paint Color and Gallery Wall
Compensation was provided by Ace Hardware via Mode Media.
Hi, friends. Today I am sharing the latest project in my transformation series with Ace Hardware: a fun, colorful painted wall with a gallery feature.I have to say, it has been loads of fun painting walls in our new (new to me) house and making it ours. I think in total we have painted “6” walls in our home so far. Each room has its own look and aesthetic, which has been nice also. I don’t keep the rooms or space the same throughout, as I personally find that boring – plus my kids’ rooms will obviously be different anyway. Like I said, it’s been a blast and luckily my neighborhood Ace Hardware offers amazing paint brands, such as Valspar, which is what I chose for this family room wall. I chose Valspar in the color “Squash Blossom” (uh, how cute is that name?)- a warm, almost sunflower yellow. It goes great with the other accents I have in my room, which are grey, black, white, and turquoise. Valspar Optimus with paint and primer is amazing and its durability stands up to almost anything. Plus, it has a fanatastic color guarantee, meaning if your first color isn’t right, they’ll give you a second for free.
Since we’re on the subject of paint, don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten my daughter’s wall and her “dresser”. That will still be coming up. I like keeping you all in suspense, and I know that so far her room is already looking so darn cute.
Here are the before and after’s.
If you like color, then I sure hope this wall has inspired you.
