PLAID CRAFTS REVIEW- {Chic Stenciled Frame}
I received a package from Plaid Crafts several weeks ago, and was finally able to tackle a project now that Halloween is behind me. THANK YOU SO MUCH PLAID CRAFTS.
I picked up an unfinished wood frame from Walmart, and then used my plaid crafts acrylic paint, stencil brush, and stencil to create the frame.
I first painted the frame white, then I cut out the flower I wanted to use from the Plaid Crafts stencil, and then I used my Plaid Crafts black metallic acrylic paint to stencil on the flowers. I finished the frame by spray painting it with a clear shiny top coat. I loved my Plaid Crafts Products and that black metallic paint is so awesome- flecks of sparkle in it- totally chic fab.
THE STEPS- PLUS I added green card stock paper behind it, and used some black waxed cotton ribbon, that I hot glued down around the inside of the frame.
You know, even I can stencil. I love to see projects that are possible for the “craft-limited” people around blogland. It turned out great!
Oh how FUN!!! I LOVE Plaid paints I think I own EVERY color in there collection… : ) Actually there is one particular color that I absolutely LOVED and it was discontinued…..Okay I PAUSED and went digging for it…it was #422 Portrait….
