DIY Extra Gum Valentines

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cricut. The opinions and text are all mine.

Hi friends today I am sharing the perfect “TWEEN” “DIY Extra Gum Valentines” I pulled out my Cricut Maker machine, logged into my Cricut Design Space and in no time wrote out a cute saying with a cute font. Then my Cricut maker and nice sharp cutting blade cut out my saying “flawlessly” and all I had to do, was then do some trimming, gluing, taping, and I was done.

Its so much fun to get to not only create something unique and different from what all the chain stores carry, but to get to play in Cricut Design Space. There are endless options to pick from in Cricut Design Space, but to also design your own thing and let your kids take something different to their friends… its pretty darn fun, and Hey’ most times you have all the supplies at home already so you don’t have to even leave the house and deal with the crowds. That is my kind of creating is staying home and using tools and stuff I already have.

From Cricut I used the following:

– Cardstock 12×24 Red Tones paper

– Cricut Maker machine

– Cricut cutting blade

– Cricut adhesive mat

– Cricut 0.4 pens

Then you will need a glue stick, scissors, tape and your extra gum to complete these simple DIY Valentines.

I hope you all enjoyed this fun valentine project. I don’t know a tween/teen that doesn’t love gum and/or being “EXTRA” wink. jen

  1. What a clever idea to use with “tweens or teens”! It’s so hard to think of cute Valentine ideas for this tween or teen market without feeling cheesy but you nailed it. I was thinking these would be cute for my college student teachers I have especially since we recommend gum for students taking tests-it’s a “brain thing”. Problem is I have a cricut left by a daughter and don’t even know how to use it??!! You’ve inspired me to learn now! Thank you for the Valentine inspiration.
