Welcome everyone… I was going to wait until Sept. 4th to post any Halloween crafts, but none the less I can’t wait!!! Hey’ we can never plan to early, right?.. and that is why I am sharing some cute
“DIY Faux Decorated Pumpkins.”
I just took “3” faux pumpkins and got to work. I will share some more detailed info. on how I made them, but first here are some pictures.
For the Cat Pumpkin- You will need gold and silver glue paint, hemp for the mouth and to tie around the stem along with two other ribbons of your choice. Googley eyes, black foam (cut into ears and a nose) I cut the ears and nose out with an xacto blade on a cutting matte, (I just eyeballed it). You will also need a hot glue gun, and some black like Halloween grass for the whiskers. I found the little Halloween grass “embellishments” at Michaels Crafts, as well as all the other craft items.
For the Witch Hat Pumpkin- You will need a felt witch hat, a round berry twig, and any other little Halloween embellishment for the top of the hat. I.E. bat, book of spells, spiders, etc. I just took the round berry twig and hot glued it down to the top of the pumpkin. I then stuffed the felt witch hat with a plastic grocery sack and hot glued that on top of the berry twig. I then just added a few other twigs, glittery black leaves, a book and a bat to the top of the hat.
For the Candy Corn Pumpkin- I painted it with orange and yellow acrylic paint. I also added a little bit of a stain to the white top. I then hot glued different ribbons around the stem.
