Re-furbished-Dressed-Maniquien
BEFORE this mannequin jewelry holder was in a light pink rose fabric, with lots of lace, pearls, a tacky mess.
I wan Hulk Hogan on it… HA! and ripped everything off, soaked her, picked of the glue, sanded her down, and spray painted her Krylon Cherry Red.
I then got to dressing her very simple. I cut a top fit to size by wrapping some cut fabric around her chest. I hemmed both sides and top and bottom then about an inch in I sewed a ruffle. I hot glued small velcro and put it around her red boobies.
I then made a simple skirt.
more velcro.
then I embellished her top a little.
Now she is perfect to hold scissors, elastic headbands, tape measures, etc. P.S. the hair clip I made too, its for my daughter.
I have always wanted to redo one of those things! They make them so tacky, but the idea is so cute! Good job.
