{CHEVRON & POLKA DOTS} re-furbished lamp

{A NEW LAMP GIVES NEW LIGHT}

a burgandy shade colored lamp that I have had for years
-AFTER-
HOW TO IN A COLLAGE
So I have this lamp sitting on my craft table (craft room nook coming soon) I was crafting a frame last night when I needed more light in the space, it was to dark. I remembered this lamp in the garage. I had no intentions of re-covering it… NEXT thing I know I am recovering a lamp around 11:40 at night. It now matches my 
“Craft Space” 
I first wrapped ribbon around the bottom leaving an extra 4 1/2 inches. I overlapped a 1/2 inch of ribbon and sewed it. I measured the spacing out at 5 inches. Then I cut six pieces of chevron fabric hot glued it on and did the same with 6 cut to fit pieces of ribbon and hot glued them on as well.
