Do you have a STORE love?

Thanks to American Express for sponsoring my writing today about small businesses.  American Express is presenting Small Business Saturday, a way to honor the local merchants who are the backbone of the economy, this Saturday, November 27.  They’re offering statement credits to people who shop at small businesses, advertising for small-business owners, and donations to Girls Inc. for “Likes” of the Small Business Saturday page on Facebook.  Join the celebration by clicking the Facebook link and selecting the “Like” button. You can also learn more about the program and read the terms and conditions that apply.
Is there a local small business you LOVE in your town, or around the bend?
Well I have one, truly I have two- Mercantile Antiques I love too. However, my real love is Ugly Trailer Antiques. You see when I crave an hour or two of alone time I grab my diet coke and head down into my local sweet little town of Hurricane UT. to the Ugly Trailer Antiques. I browse and browse and DROOL and browse and I am in love. I have bought some great things; a cute large shutter, a red hutch, antique clothes pins, a vintage scale, door window picture frame, a bench seat, and some smaller items at the Ugly Trailer. This Building used to be a jail long before I was born. So its really big- MORE TO LOOK AT AND MORE to love! There is something at the Ugly Trailer for everyone. If you are looking for that special old collectible; Aqua Ball Jars, books, purses, lamps, furniture, jewelry, collectibles, its all there. I love supporting my local town and businesses and by doing so I visit Ugly Trailer and its always a pleasant visit. HERE ARE JUST SOME OF the Things I found there…

Vintage Scale!

8×10 Picture Frame DOOR- DIY Project!

  My Red Hutch-
