another early Halloween craft ~All Hallows {eek} boxes

even {MORE} BOXES! These were again three un-finished boxes that were purchased at the dollar tree. I had this vision for them and could hardly wait to make them, so when the sis came recently we got busy. My sis said that we should add polka dots to the boxes.. HELLO, heck yeah! I had already purchased polka dot ribbon so we just did the polka dots on two of the boxes. SQUEAL…. I MEAN “eek”!!!! DO YOU LIKE?

After you paint the boxes with acrylic paint and add your polka dots… you will then do the glitter. HERE ARE THE BASIC steps for the glitter.
I also thought that it would be cute to add something sitting on the top. I found two cute blinking skull’s with crow’s at Tai Pan Trading for $2.39. The skulls eyes change colors…. It is just sitting on top, so it can be taken off if I choose.

    I was just at a Dollar Tree and saw those boxes…I might just have to go back.

    I have wanted to go to Tai Pan Trading, but the last time I was in St. George, it was closed for a holiday…bummer. When I get back ‘home’ to NV next time, I will have to head up that way to see the store for myself.

  13. Whoa!! LOVING THESE!! I am kind of best buds with glitter and black & white polka dots. These are aces in my book!! (although I might not be ready to give up summer yet….I love it truly!)
