Girly Girl Garland

GIRLY GIRL GARLAND for the little girl(s) in your life. This went in my MISS PRISS’S ROOM!

You will start with a fairly large Gerber daisy flower. One with plenty of petal layers. I was able to get “5” large and “5” medium sized petals, so it worked out pretty good. I already tore apart the pink one so here is an orange one. They were originally barrettes for my daughter, but I think she is to old for them now. I also had all these supplies at home so I went with it and took my inspiration from my Patriotic Garland HERE.

HERE ARE ALL THE PIECES YOU WILL NEED! minus the polka dots and the gluing.

start by painting your coffee filters with your “3” choices of acrylic paint colors. I also used “3” different sized round sponge brushes. LET DRY!

I painted the brads aqua blue to tie it in with the aqua blue polka dots. So if your brads don’t match you can paint them. 😉 NOTE: once dry be careful not to scratch off the paint, they do scratch off easily if you are not careful.

place your brad through the first flower petal then center it on the paper dollie and finally through the larger flower petal.

Fasten your brad nicely underneath.

Then you will add hot glue to the back of the flower and glue it to the coffee filter. Last you will Glue the Coffee Filter Flower to the grow grain ribbon.

TA DA!

and in my Princess’s ROOM!
