Burlap "Wash Room" Frame

Hello there~ I made this sign to hang in my laundry room. I really don’t know what made me think of it, I just winged it. I did dig up a bunch of oak laminate frames in  my garage. I wasn’t digging the laminate oak finish, so I painted the frame with “bleached sand acrylic paint.” I used “distressed” clothes pins, vinyl, hot glue, and burlap. I chose a star TO REPRESENT THE “A” because my laundry room has some cute primitive metal stars in it.

side angle shot.

I started off the craft project by using Distress INK to distress the plain clothes pins.~ Totally love this stuff… do you see the color name… “Frayed burlap” to fitting… Yes’ it had me at burlap! ha!

don’t they look so much better distressed? I think so. I got a box of these mini clothes pins at Wally World.

I distressed the frame too. Yes I am wearing gloves, I was tired of washing off all the wet paint and such.

last you will add your vinyl that you cut out. I used the Platinum School book cartridge for my cricut. Finally you will glue on the clothes pins..

your final product will be this.

and its hung in the proper room, in case no one new, like my kids… their clothes are all over their rooms….. It is the “WASH ROOM” after all.
