Chocolate Cat Halloween Treats
Hello Friends, today I am going to share with you some fun and cute Chocolate Cat Halloween Treats. I was at the store the other day and I saw the cute “monster” if you will, candy eyes. I haven’t seen them before, so I had to grab them and make something with them. I new I had the candy/baking licorice at home and when I put the eyes and licorice together I thought “Cats”.. something cute with cats!” So I headed to the candy and boxed treat sections and started looking. I ended up getting the Little Debbie chocolate cakes. I would of loved using the Hostess Ding Dongs as well, but we didn’t have those. Anyway they were fun to make, and I just made some for my children for a sweet Halloween treat to enjoy after dinner.
So below are some pictures.
I trimmed the candy licorice down to size, formed my cat tootsie roll noses, and piped out melted candy melt chocolate cat ears. I let the remaining cat ears and the Little Debbie snacks chill in the freezer while I would put them together one by one. I used the melted candy melts in the bottle to glue/stick each piece onto the cake.
My kids did have a fit over them and enjoyed picking off each little treat and eating them.
I hope you all liked these fun and festive Chocolate Cat Halloween Treats.
See you tomorrow evening for COM-Monday! I will be putting together some fun Halloween roundups.
