Rustic White Birthday Baptism Party
This past weekend was chalked full of love, some tears, joy, laughter, and a visit from Innie (gma L) and grandpa from Oregon. They came down for Bella’s 8th Birthday. Her birthday was extra special because she got baptized. Her whole program, and baptism along with her Baptism/Birthday Party were wonderful. I could tell she felt special, not just on here special big day, but for the few days leading up to it. We sure enjoyed having Innie and Papa come visit and had loads of fun with them, as we always do.
I am sharing some pictures of her Baptism Birthday as well as some of her Baptism pictures I took of her in her dress. The dress was made by my MIL, she did a lovely job as always. I wanted a pretty white with soft turquoise and light pink color scheme. So I thought rustic, woods, burlap, whites, stuff like that would help pull it together. A lot of the items I used were from David Tutera’s Casual Elegance line. I had so much stuff that I was sent previously, that he pretty much hooked me up in the decorating department. Wooooot!
Here is a list of the David Tutera Items I used:
-White lanterns
-White clip on butterfly’s
-Burlap ribbon
-Jute string (tied around the lanterns and balloons)
-Burlap flowers big and small
-Stretchy lace ribbon (tied around the kitchen light fixture)
-Burlap square table runner/cloth
-Small metal bucket
-Chalk pick
-White lacy dollie
-Burlap pennant
~So here are the pictures~
I made her invites at Pic Monkey and then uploaded them to Walmart Photo Lab to be developed.
I took a bunch of pictures of her (of coarse) but these two below are my favs.
“8” is great donuts. Powdered donuts on a stick with little David Tutera wrapped labels underneath. We also had double chocolate cupcakes, red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, strawberry cake pops, vanilla ice cream, watermelon, and strawberry orange 7-up punch.
I wrapped some David Tutera burlap ribbon around a vintage soda crate and used washed and cleaned frap. jars for the drinks. The chalk sign is also David Tutera. I just took off the stick and clipped it to the crate.
The punch is delicious! 3 packets of strawberry orange crystal light, a liter of sierra mist (7up or sprite) a bunch of ice and slices strawberries. The barrel looking drink dispenser is from Walmart.
It sure was lovely and sweet! everyone loved the pretty decor and all the yummy treats.
Thanks for stopping in.
