Hand Crafted Fleur De Lis & Scrolly boxes!

Hello there~ Here are my hand painted & crafted “Fleur De Lis & Scrolly Boxes” I made these today. Lets take a tutorial….

First off I found these boxes at Desert Industries~ its like a Good Will~ the smaller one was inside the big one. The original tags were on the bottom of them. The smaller one was $3.89 and the bigger one was $4.89 I GOT THEM “sold together” for $1.00 dollar SCORE! I TOLD you all that I have been on a box KICK~ my halloween ones are up next……

after painted with ACRYLIC paint “Barn Red” and “Antique White” this is before I mod podged the paper designs on.

after the pieces were cut out from my cricut, i used Distress Ink and stamped over the burnt yellow looking paper. I used the “Home Decor” Cartridge for the cricut. I didn’t end up using the Memories one you see in the pic.

On the bigger lid~ I again, used the distress ink.

I used the lustre MOD PODGE to give it a nice shine.

FOR NOW… i say that, because I move things around until I LOVE the home aka spot IT ENDS UP IN. So for NOW… its on my bookshelf, I placed a topiary inside the box, that may change too…..
