Hi friends, I am so excited to share my oldest son’s teen boy’s bedroom. I am shairng part of it, that is, as I am not finished with three walls. So that will be in Part 2. I was lucky enough to work with Ace Hardware on their 31 Days of Color selections campaign.I knew I wanted to  paint my son’s room a dark blue color, but nothing super dark. So once I had my color, it was game on. I knew I wanted to do a more grown-up teen-themed room for my son. Plus he was with me and helped me pick out the perfect blue color of his liking. Luckily, we have a box packed away, full of items my husband brought back from South Africa many years ago. Awesome hand-woven baskets, hand-carved masks and heads, and other cool items that didn’t all make it in this space-but this is it for now.

Doing his room, I did buy a few things. But most of the time when I’m doing room makeover, I will be spending money anyway. My budget for his room was just under $50, and that was working with stuff we had as well. Also, the beautiful blue color on his wall is called Heirloom China, and I love it.
