DIY Rudolph Ornament.
My kids sure love him, especially my little boys. He was super fun and easy to make.
Here you go..
Supplies:
– brown acrylic paint or brown Elmer’s painters pen
– black Elmer’s painters pen (medium) (acrylic paint and a small paint brush would work too).
– white Elmer’s painters pen (small) (acrylic paint and a small paint brush would work too).
– small round Christmas bulbs
– round sponge brush
– white acrylic paint
– brown ink it pad
– googley eyes
– oval plaque
– gold glitter
– glue gun
– ribbon
– glue
– jute
I found all my stuff that I needed at Michael’s and the rest I had at home.
How To:
I started by using my Ink It brown paint pad and went around the oval plaque giving it an outline look. I then took my brown Elmer’s painters marker and colored the face and ears. Next I used some clear glue and applied it to the antlers with my finger and then sprinkled on the gold glitter. I then used both my white and brown painters markers to create and fill in the Reindeer’s ears. Then I took my round sponge brush and white acrylic paint and blotted on the reindeer snout/mouth. I outlined the top of the snout with my black painters marker. I also made a mouth with my black painters maker. Next I hot glued down the googly eyes and took some pliers to the red bulb and pulled off the loop/ring and hot glued the nose to the snout area. When Rudolph was all done, I hot glued him down to the plaque and added some polka dot ribbon and jute. The polka dot ribbon was hot glued down and the jute was tied on and around the polka dot ribbon.
Supplies! and glue gun and googley eyes.
Needless to say my kids loved him!
