DIY Fall Wreath

I finished up my DIY Fall Wreath today!!! Man’ I love fall crafting/decorating. Best part?… it didn’t cost me one penny!!!! whooOOP! I headed out to my garage and found my OLD fall wreath that I made a couple years ago.

I tore everything off, then I rummaged through all my fabric, some old shirts (they make great rosettes) some pennants, ribbon, and anything else I thought I may use, and I got busy on my DIY Fall Wreath.

HOW I MADE IT: I started by taking a thin fairly long piece of yellow damask fabric that I sewed up all four sides. I glued down the piece of fabric to the back and wrapped it around the wicker wreath, finishing it up with more hot glue.

I then took two of my layered Canvas Corp. flowers in a taupe color and black, I rolled some rosettes for the centers and hot glued them on top of the Canvas Corp. flowers.

Then I made some more rosettes and played around with the wreath positioning things where I liked them. Once I liked everything, it was ” Glue gun time”! I hot glued down everything. I took some Canvas Corp. pennants and hot glued some black grosgrain ribbon to them.

Next with some puffy glittery stickers I stuck them to the pennant to spell out FALL! I hot glued down the pennant, and tied a piece of cut fabric to the center of the wreath  for hanging it up.

I rolled rosettes and other ribbon looking flowers from some cut fabric and from some ribbon. The one below is from ribbon. I used hot glue to hold down the ribbon and fabric where I wanted it. This DIY wreath would be a great decor idea for even a condo like the ones at Precondo

I always hope to inspire you all, and today I hope that my DIY fall wreath has inspired you as well. Go dig into your stash or dig up your old fall wreath, and with some hot glue and some designing, you too can whip up one yourselves. Thank you tons and bunches for stopping by.
hugs, jen
