DIY Yarn Ball Topiary
Hello friends, MAN’ i have been in another crafting rut. I hate when i get in those!!!
Finally something clicked and I thought of making a cute
“YARN BALL TOPIARY”
this project cost me around $7.00 bucks, but i have plenty of yarn left over and an extra styrofoam ball and extra wood dowels. So i totally could make another one. This project is also super easy, and super cute.
Here is a basic tutorial, the pictures pretty much tell the how to.
I cute long pieces and started anywhere I wanted and I just used a dab of hot glue. I alternated turq. with the yellow ombre color, I did four layers two of each.
TIP: make sure you take your wood dowel and puncture the styrofoam ball, remove the dowel and mark the whole with a sharpie. The whole will be easier to find when you are done wrapping the yarn.
…and here she is all done. I have her sitting on a shelf in my craft space. I LOVE HER!
THANKS FOR STOPPING BY COM

Hi
The yarn is so cute with the blue pail. What made you think of the idea? I bet you could make a few really big ones for outside!
