Mod Podge -Christmas Jars w/granola
LAST YEAR my sister and I made these handmade mod podge jars filled with Christmas Granola. So I wanted to share them with you now as a Christmas Gift idea and to give you all an early head start, if you decide to make them.
This is such a cute and inexpensive gift idea, for neighbors, friends, co-workers etc. Plus it was handmade and from the heart.
So my sister and I saved and cleaned out our spaghetti, applesauce, jam, etc. jars to decoupage tissue paper onto them. We then painted the lids with acrylic paint and used more acrylic paint to add polka dots to the outside.
You can find the round sponges at crafts stores, they have different sizes 😉 Then we hot glued some Christmas rope/chording around the rim and filled them w/ christmas granola!
GRANOLA Ingredients~
raisens
granola
peanuts
holiday colored m&ms.
I eye balled all of it, by pouring and mixing it all in a large cast iron pot. Then I placed the jars in the pot and scooped them full.
Thanks ALL for stopping by, have a great weekend! I am linking up to Tatertots and Jello for the Holly Bloggy Christmas Party HERE.
