This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Apartments.com for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Hello Friends- Today I am sharing a cute DIY project with you… more on that below. So as of today, I have been married for almost 14 years (in Sept.) during my marriage I have lived in an apartment for 2 years, my parents home (a bedroom) for 6 months, my in laws (a bedroom) for 10 mos., and a small caceida (guest like house) on my parents property for 3 years. I know what its like to live in a small spaces. When you live in smaller spaces, you really need the essentials most, and all the other fluff and stuff might have to wait. However, decorating your apartment or small spaces shouldn’t compromise your personality and style. I think most importantly in smaller spaces you have to organized. I really believe “Organization” is key. Keeping things decorative and functional is a win win. For me personally,  I have to be organized in my spaces or I will go crazy, and no body likes crazy mom around here. HA! Now that my family is much bigger and I have four kids, it can get super messy. Some of the things you can do to keep things tidy  neat, and organized, is get things up off the floor. Hang some cute racks, hooks, shelves, cubbies, and even a “Bulletin Board.” Today I am sharing with you this super cute and fun “DIY Beachy Bulletin Board!”

Supplies:

-1 bag of drift wood (JOANNS)
-1 small bag of sea shells (your choice JOANNS)
-1 square bulletin board (JOANNS)
-a glue gun and glue sticks.
-and thumbtacks

Directions:

First you will start by mapping out your drift wood and sea shells, I played around with my bulletin board until I got the look I was wanting. Once you get the look you want, leave everything in place and start hot gluing down each item until you are done. This project is super easy and super stylish. It would be perfect on any wall above a desk, in a kitchen or wherever you see fit. Heck’ it would be darling in your beach front condo HA! (i can dream)

Bulletin Boards are fantastic to display your favorite photos, small mementos, and important notes and messages. Now a days your bulletin boards doesn’t have to be boring and plain Ole’ bulletin  You can dress them up to reflect you. If you all are looking for apartment friendly, DIY projects, decorating, entertaining, living on a budget, food and yummy recipes, plus much more, then I really encourage you all to check out Renter Resources to get the scoop on all of these great resources. Have fun in your small space and know that you can make in functional and full of style.
