Holiday Tablescape in Turquoise, Green, and Natural Elements

Today I am sharing my “Holiday Tablescape and Hutch.” I was very honored when a local S. Utah Magazine Elan Woman emailed me and asked if I would like to be featured in their “Holiday” issue of their magazine? OH’ BOY WOULD I!!! It was October when I got the email, so I got busy and I took down all my Fall/Halloween stuff. I Decked The Halls creating a clean, soft-with a punch of color tablescape. I love decorating my home, but I especially love doing it around my FAVORITE holidays… and Christmas is certainly one of them.  My colors I chose are soft naturals with natural like elements, soft turquoise, and chartreuse green.

There were definitely some special pieces that helped make this tablescape and Christmas Decor all that more wonderful. The green depression glass cup and bowl on my hutch were passed down to me from my grandmother. From Kevin’s grandmother the winter scene china glasses were passed down to us, and sure are the perfect touch. Christmas decorating to me, is way more special when I can use beautiful handed down pieces. Plus it really makes me feel like “all” my family is with me during such a wonderful time of the year.

Here are my Holiday Tablescape pictures…
Target votives and pine cone candles.

I used my Letter Press from Life Style Crafts to run through my Epic Six to stamp a design onto some State Line Cotton bags. The bags are a great way to give your guests a small Christmas present, or treat.

I took some Canvas Corp chalk tags, jute, and white clothes pins to create my guests wrapped silverware.

I was super lucky and found this fairly large glass Christmas tree apothecary at the D.I. It is great to hold Christmas bulbs, or even candy.

I had lots of fun creating this look. As some of you know we have moved, so this was all created and photographed at my old place. We are still settling in at the new place.

A HUGE THANKS to ELAN WOMAN, I wouldn’t have created this space if it wasn’t for that amazing email.  I am beyond honored. xo jen

  1. Congrats! That is EXCITING! I especially love that you are using keepsakes from the Grandmother’s in your family! I have a Dining Room set that once belonged to my Grandmother. I feel like she is with me when I sit at the table! Thanks for sharing your talents! Happy Holidays to you and your family! Best of luck on your move and getting settled! You have a beautiful family!

  2. Soo gorgeous! How did you know that’s the color scheme I’m planning to decorate with this Christmas? It’s my first Christmas using something other than red & green– I feel positively heathen! Thanks for validating my choices 😉 Now to just resist the urge to start decorating before Thanksgiving…

  3. Congratulations! Everything is so beautiful. I love how clean, yet festive it looks. I love using non-traditional colors for Christmas. This year I’m doing Silver, Black with a touch of Lavender. I can’t wait to set it all up!
