DIY Painted and Stenciled Mothers Day Frame

I was fortunate enough to be invited to participate in a “Martha Stewart” Mothers Day Campaign from Plaid Crafts. When I was emailed and invited, I was immediately thrilled and jumped right on the awesome opportunity. I was asked to create a  mother’s day project using some of the Martha Stewart products I was sent.

I new I wanted to stencil something, so once I thought of a saying I got to work on a frame.

HERE IS ALL MY LOOT I GOT FROM PLAID CRAFTS, PRETTY DARN AMAZING RIGHT?
I started with painting and cutting out my vinyl saying.

I used my Martha Stewart rolling pin for painting the Plaid craft frame I got at Walmart. I used 3 different Martha Stewart paints to complete the project. The green paint was mixed with another shade of green paint I had, along with a green Martha Stewart paint.  I cut out vinyl and painted over it, then when the paint was all dry I carefully peeled off the vinyl. I Stenciled the bird and branch with one of my Martha Stewart stencils, and mixed two Martha Stewart pink paints to create the blossoms on the stenciled tree.

I HAVE ONE AMAZING HARD WORKING SWEET LOVING CARING CREATIVE MOTHER! WHOM I ADORE TO A ZILLION PIECES!
THANK YOU TO PLAID CRAFTS FOR HELPING ME MAKE MY MOM’S MOTHER’S DAY GIFT EXTRA SPECIAL.  Thanks for stopping in.
