DIY- Strawberry Shortcake Birthday Centerpiece

AS I HAVE MENTIONED ON ANOTHER DIY-S.S. post, My Miss Priss is having a S.S. party. So I wanted to make a centerpiece for the kitchen table.

To Begin- I started with a photography photo roll I got from a friend. She new I would use them some how. HA! Ask your local photographer for their old photo paper photo rolls. I am sure they toss them when the photo paper is all gone.

COVER IT WITH cut to size card stock paper. Glue down.

Next I used my Accent Essentials Cartridge for my Cricut for the green polka dot frame. Then I added some glitter glue in the red spreading it on with just my finger.

Next I made my own strawberries free hand to trace on red paper I dotted with a sharpie.

I then added glitter over the top, let dry, then I made a slit with my xacto knife to add the free handed green cut stems. I also cut out “2” S’s for Strawberry Shortcake I used my Platinum Schoolbook Cartridge for them. Each piece was hot glued to wooden dowels. Styrofoam was shoved down in the photo roll and I added stuffed coffee filters to the top.

My Bella is very Excited for her S.S. Birthday Party… just a few more weeks.
Thanks for stopping by you all are so “BERRY SWEET!”
