Easter Styrofoam Eggs Plaque

I LIED I LIED, hanging my head low… in shame…. OK’ maybe not shame, BUT humiliation…. I do apologize that this is so early, but WHAT THE HECK, its my blog and I am a “CRAFT-O-MANIAC”- need to hold true to the title and name!!! SO I guess if this repulses you, then you will have to “HOPEFULLY” leave, and come back to visit as it gets closer to Easter. WINKS! also, I know some of you are sick of V-DAY crafts and decor.. and as much fun as it has been, I thought changing it up a bit early would be fun.

ANYWAY- So this craft was totally FREE… I used all stuff I had in my craft supplies as well as a board I had in my garage from tearing apart my sons Changing table. I tell ya, I have gotten lots of CRAFT projects made out of that torn apart changing table. HA!

I started by cutting napkins to board size, then mod podged the board, laid napkins over the mod podge and mod podged over the napkins. Let dry.

I then painted white acrylic paint on all sides but the bottom. Let dry.

I took Styrofoam eggs from last year that were on sticks, pulled them off and cut them in half.

I hot glued a strip of burlap to the board with a piece of grosgrain ribbon over the burlap. I also added ric rac ribbon to the top and bottom. I used mini glue dots for the ric rac.

THERE YOU HAVE IT! and for what its worth, its put away until I am ready to DECORATE for Easter.
